FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is the most popular way for transferring files from local drive to server. All website developers and webmasters are familiar with this protocol as it helps them to manage websites and server contents easily. I have been using FTP program to transfer files from my system to my website for a very long time. To access any server, you can use a suitable client software with features to connect you to a server using FTP protocol. There are a number of such freeware and paid applications for Windows. Another way to access an FTP server is through your Android smartphone. You can install an FTP Client app on your Android smartphone and access your server via FTP. Turbo Client is a FTP, FTPS, FTPES and SFTP client for Android and it is designed for Smartphones and Tablets 8+. It comes with a Holo theme which along with giving it an attractive look also makes it easy to use.

This is a freeware FTP client for Android but it contains no ads and works like a premium app. If you are a website developer or webmaster, I am sure that this app will come in handy if you install it on your smartphone.
The Turbo Client app works flawlessly on both smartphones and tablets but the user interface in far better in tablets and you can manage your files more conveniently on a tablet than with a smartphone.
